Choroidal Neovascular Membranes

Diagnosed with OCT, angiography and HD photos. Most arise from Wet Age Related Macula Degeneration. Many are seen in eyes with diabetic retinopathy that received laser, and many are seen in eyes with high myopia [near-sightedness] even after Lasik has been done.

We have treatments today to reverse the disease, and treatment stops the disease in over 98%. The vision even improves in nearly 70%, but improvement level is often dependent upon how early you call after blurry vision begins. So if blurry vision begins in even ONE EYE, you fit any of the above criteria, call for an immediate appointment!

As treatment progresses, our OCT images will show you how well your macula is mending, and your vision should follow shortly after. The frequency of treatments is a lot early on, but tapers off after a while, although Wet Age Related Macular Degeneration is a Chronic Disease, and until a pill is developed, periodic injections will be the only way to maintain good useful vision.

You will find that no matter what stage your vision has deteriorated to, it is better to save what you can than to continue to lose more and more. So, please allow us to help you if you are suffering loss of vision.
